Taking a break and self-exclusion
Requesting distance from gambling is a responsible decision.
How to ask
Email hello@frenchjackpotchef.com or speak privately to a duty manager. You may request an immediate cooling-off period, suspension of salon marketing or exclusion from the gaming area.
Identity and privacy
We may need your full name, date of birth, contact details and identification to avoid applying a restriction to the wrong person. Access to the record should be limited to staff who enforce the measure.
Duration
The selected duration and scope are confirmed in writing. A self-exclusion should not be reversed impulsively. Any later request to return is considered only after the stated period and an appropriate reflection process.
Marketing preferences
You may stop casino-related messages while continuing to receive restaurant information if you clearly request that distinction.
Independent support
Self-exclusion is not a substitute for professional help. The National Gambling Helpline is available 24/7 on 0808 8020 133, with further support at gamcare.org.uk.
Staff obligations
Relevant employees should be informed only to the extent necessary to enforce the restriction. They must not shame, challenge or encourage an excluded person to reconsider during the protected period.
Failed access attempts
If an excluded guest attempts to enter the salon, staff may remind them of the active measure and provide support information. The practical response must follow applicable law and confirmed house procedures.
Keeping restaurant contact separate
A guest may ask to retain ordinary dining communication while blocking all casino-related marketing. The preference should be recorded clearly and honoured across house mailing lists.
